A few weeks ago, I was contacted to try some of the new products of the Ryvita range. I’ve discovered Ryvita only since I’ve been in England as surprisingly they are not available in France (we do have similar brands/products though).
As I’m not an adventurous eater, I started with the plain crispbreads and I absolutely love them. I usually eat them with jam for breakfast or topped with cheese when I eat a soup.
To be honest, I thought Ryvita was offering only 1 product, the crispbread but when I received my little parcel, I found out Ryvita was a bit more than just plain crispbread.
They have a very big range of products such as:
And all these products are available in quite a few different flavours.
I first tried the Thins (cheddar & cracked black pepper) with some soup.
I really liked the texture as well as the cheddar taste. It went perfectly with my soup. However, the pepper taste was way too strong for my liking.
I then tried the crispbread. I got the Hint of chilli and the Mediterranean herbs ones.
I ate the Hint of chilli with some cheese and peppers and I really didn’t like it at all. I think it is way more than a hint of chilli. Even Boyfriend, who likes spicy food thought it was quite strong.
I however really liked the Mediterranean herbs one, which I also ate with some cheese and tomatoes. I will probably be repurchasing this one, and I’d also would like to try the sweet onion one.
Finally, the crackerbread (wholegrain one). I kept this one for the end as to be honest I didn’t really want to try it as I thought the packaging was very boring. But when I opened the box and discovered what the crackerbreads were, I was very excited as they are just what I used to eat when I was little. They are known in France as “cracottes”. I eat them at breakfast, with butter or jam or even some chocolate powder.I absolutely love them and will definitely be re-purchasing them.
Overall, I’m very pleased to have discovered the wide range of Ryvita’s products. I would generally buy their 6 products but I’m not sure about all their flavours. Ryvita in general is a very versatile product as you can eat it at every meal, with any topping you want. Check out their website for tons of fun recipes ideas.
Have you tried Ryvita’s new flavours? What’s your favourite one?
Very interesting! I have my ryvita with cream cheese and smoked salmon or chedder and pickle.
