Over the past few days, I’ve ben thinking of some sort of “food - new resolutions”. I absolutely love baking and cooking. I’ve got tons of cooking and baking books but always end up making the same thing. I’ve then decided that this year, I’m going not to cook or bake only healthy stuff as that would be boring but I’m going to try (that’s the key word) to bring more variety into my cooking/baking. This doesn't necessarily involve complicated recipes or fancy looking dishes or cakes. I’m just going to bake and cook new things or things I haven't made very often in the past.
So, to start off, here is a very simple recipe I got from How to be a domestic goddess: Blueberry muffins.
I went shopping the other day and bought this massive punnet of blueberries. I just fancied them in my Weetabix for breakfast. But as Boyfriend doesn't like blueberries, I found it difficult to eat them all on time. And as I didn't want them to go to waste, the best thing to do was making these muffins.
They are oops, were absolutely delicious and moist and very good looking.
A perfect Friday treat!
